What the Site Tracks
Every day the site calculates the current week number, the number of full weeks remaining until December 31, the days left in the year, and the percentage of the year that has already elapsed. All figures are based on the US Eastern timezone and use a Sunday-to-Saturday week convention.
Why We Built This
Weeks make an intuitive planning unit. A week is long enough to ship meaningful work yet short enough to feel urgent. Knowing there are, say, 40 weeks left makes deadlines concrete in a way that “nine months” does not. We built this site because we kept looking up that number ourselves.
